Fifty years ago, this spring, Georgia Tech awarded its first three degrees in economics, marking a milestone in the School of Economics' journey from a small service unit to a dynamic center of scholarship and education. 

To mark the 50th anniversary of the School of Economics, we will be hosting a Distinguished Speaker Series featuring prominent figures at Georgia Tech to discuss economics and beyond with faculty, staff, and students. 

A Conversation with Dean Kaye Husbands Fealing (hosted by the School of Economics)

Kaye Husbands Fealing is Dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at the Georgia Institute of Technology, formerly the Chair of the School of Public Policy Georgia Tech. She specializes in the science of science and innovation policy, the public value of research expenditures, and the underrepresentation of women and minorities in STEM fields and the workforce. 

Husbands Fealing holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University and a B.A. in mathematics and economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
