In today's society, energy, policy, and economics are inextricably intertwined. Understanding the tradeoffs between energy use, its effect on economic prosperity, and the policy regulatory environment are key to developing a long-term, integrated strategy to meet our future energy needs. Georgia Tech researchers utilize empirical, theoretical and statistical modeling approaches to explore the impact of policy decisions on the energy market, consumer behavior, and environmental concerns and to design new models for a low carbon energy future.
