Non-equilibrium interfaces for ultracold Fermi gases
Primary tabs
Ariel Sommer received his B.S. in 2007 from Stanford University and his PhD in 2013 from M.I.T., where he worked with Martin Zwierlein on ultracold Fermi gases. He was a Grainger Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago, where he worked with Jonathan Simon on quantum nonlinear optics with Rydberg atoms. After a postdoc with Wofgang Ketterle at M.I.T. working on ultracold molecules, Sommer joined the faculty at Lehigh University in 2017, where his group studies ultracold gases of lithium-6 atoms.
